Growing up the child of a veterinarian, artepupp grooming co.’s founder, Kelsey Keyes, developed a deep understanding of animal care and welfare- which informed her compassionate, whole dog approach to grooming. Kelsey fell into her grooming in college while working on her BFA in Fine Arts & Art History, and promptly enrolled at Wisconsin School of Professional Pet Groomers. 15 years later, she continues to combine her creativity and technical skill to elevate grooming to an art form.

In addition to her grooming expertise, Kelsey is dedicated to raising industry standards through education and mentorship, and is passionate about sharing her knowledge by training new groomers. She prioritizes the health and safety of every animal, employing gentle handling techniques and using high-quality products based on the individual’s coat-care needs.

When she is not grooming, Kelsey can be found cheering on her 3 sports loving boys. The Keyes family also includes Andre the senior Havanese, Callie a Bernese Mt Dog, Bogey a Standard Poodle, and husband, Greg.

Kelsey is proudly an Internationally Certified Master Groomer, Certified Canine Esthetician, AKC S.A.F.E. certified and is a member of the Grooming Industry Educators Alliance, Master Groomer Council of Best Practices and the National Dog Groomers of America Association.
